for kids of all ages in Burnside Park!

Every Tuesday | July – August
11-2pm in Burnside Park, downtown Providence. Free
Free-Play Playground! Lawn games, hula-hoops, bubbles & more! And lunch-time tunes from BSR community radio each week 12-1pm!

We love working with Kidoinfo and this summer we extend the family fun in Burnside Park beyond Kidoinfo Storytime and Art in the Park. This month we launch the FREE series PLAY IN THE PARK Tuesdays, running midday July & August.

Tues July 3rd 1-2pm – Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art presents: Buoyancy! Come discover the science of things that float and things that don’t!  First come, first served (20 spots). Email: jen@kennedyplaza.org to reserve a spot ahead! Ages: 8 to 16

Tues July 10th 1-2pm – Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art presents: Architecture! Experiment with the unique properties of building materials as you construct towers, bridges and more. First come, first served (20 spots). Email: jen@kennedyplaza.org to reserve a spot ahead! Ages: 8 to 16.

Tues July 17th, 1pm – History Talking & Walking Tour (CANCELLED) from Burnside Park to Roger Williams National Memorial (RWNM) with Ranger. Fun Junior Ranger activities and SpRiNkLeR TiMe! in RWNM Park upon arrival!  All ages.

Tues July 24th11am-2pm – Public Square Day with Brown Bag lunch talk, 12pm. All ages.

“Providence Raptors: Falcons and Hawks of Burnside Park!”- join local photographer Peter Green in Burnside Park  for a peak into the secret world of Kennedy Plaza’s hawks and falcons! 1- 1:30PM.
