
The Winter season of programming at the Bank of America City Center runs from November - March.
The Summer season of programming throughout Greater Kennedy Plaza takes place between May - October. Stay tuned for the 2010 schedule. In the meantime, here’s a peak at what we were up to in Summer 2009!
Market Bazaar Mondays
Please join us each week from 11am - 5pm for Market Bazaar Mondays on the sidewalk along Burnside Park. Delicious food, antiques, books, accessories, art, merchandise and fun! If you or your business would like to set up a booth for Market Bazaar Mondays, please download an application here.
Public Square Tuesday
Each week, non-profit agencies from Rhode Island and beyond gather to present their missions with an interactive approach in a fun, urban setting. Running every Tuesday from 11:30am – 1:30pm through October on the sidewalk along Burnside Park, a different service theme is featured each week. From the arts and humanities to fitness and the environment, Public Square Tuesday plays host to a tremendous variety of action. Brown Bag Music Series Wednesdays
Lunchtime and after-work performances featuring a wide variety of genres from West African Highlife to Jazz Fusion, and Celtic to Classical each Wednesday through October.
Fun And Fit Thursdays
Free exercise classes outside in Burnside Park hosted by Boston Sports Clubs. 12:15-1pm. From Yoga and Cardio to Power Walking and Boot Camp, a variety of classes will get you excited to be outside and active.
Burnside Park Music Thursday Series
Relax with this after-work music series every Thursday between 5-7pm. Check out bands and DJs from all over New England before you head to dinner and outdoor movies! Free!
Farmers’ Market Fridays
Farmers’ markets are one of the easiest places to find the tasty harvests of Rhode Island farms. Here on the sidewalk along Burnside Park, you’ll find a diversity of foods fresh from the fields and meet the people who grow your meal. Plus, every dollar paid directly to a local grower is a dollar reinvested into Rhode Island communities. 11am - 2pm.
