Kidoinfo: Providence Storytime All ages story hour in downtown Providence! Families bring a blanket and enjoy different weekly storytellers near the fountain in Burnside Park. Kidoinfo will feature at least one book each week from a local Rhode Island author or illustrator. Every Tuesday from 10am - 11am throughout July and August! Monthly Market Bazaar Please join us on the first Tuesday of the month from 11am - 5pm for the Monthly Market Bazaar on the sidewalk along Burnside Park. (June 1, July 6, August 3, September 7, October 5).  Delicious food, antiques, books, accessories, art, merchandise and fun! Public Square Day Non-profit agencies from Rhode Island and beyond gather to present their missions with an interactive approach in a fun, urban setting. Running every second Tuesday of the month from 11:30am – 1:30pm  on the sidewalk along Burnside Park. (June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12).  From the arts and humanities to fitness and the environment, Public Square Tuesday plays host to a tremendous variety of action. Lunchtime and after-work performances featuring a wide variety of genres from West African Highlife to Jazz Fusion, and Celtic to Classical each Wednesday from 12-1pm through September.

Fun And Fit Thursdays Free exercise classes outside in Burnside Park. Thursdays from 12:15-1pm. From Yoga and Tai Chi and Powerwalking, a variety of classes will get you excited to be outside and active!

Burnside Park Beer Garden Thursday Music Series Relax with this after-work music series every Thursday between 4:30-7:30pm. Check out bands and DJs from all over New England before you head to dinner and outdoor movies! Free!

Fountain of Youth Skateboarding Night Every Third Thursday of the month for just $5! (June 17, July 15, August 19, September 16, October 14).

Farmers’ Market Fridays Farm Fresh RI hosts tasty harvests from Rhode Island farmers. Here on the sidewalk along Burnside Park, you’ll find a diversity of foods fresh from the fields and meet the people who grow your meal. Plus, every dollar paid directly to a local grower is a dollar reinvested into Rhode Island communities. 11am - 2pm. Starts June 4th!
